Bio
Josh focuses his practice on civil litigation, most often in relation to real estate litigation and zoning disputes, as well as complex family law litigation. His background in working with his family’s HVAC business to owning and operating a wedding photography studio has attenuated him to the unique needs of small to medium sized business owners.
Josh has a particularly deep interest in administrative law and understanding the constraints that agencies, townships, cities, and counties place upon business owners and property developers. This is especially evident in zoning restrictions that put a strain on Central Ohio’s rapid population growth.
Josh initially garnered this interest after cutting his teeth at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, where he represented a number of state agencies in § 119 hearings. Since leaving that office, Josh uses that experience to represent individuals and business on the other side of those same hearings, as well as § 2506 hearings and appeals.
In that same vein, Josh devotes distinct portion of his practice to representing those same business and property owners in domestic disputes – particularly as it relates to his experience in working with those unique and complex assets.
Josh resides in Powell with his wife Sarah and daughter Adaline.
